It's never too late to quit smoking!  Studies show that if a person quits after 20 to 25 years of smoking, his or her chances of developing cancer are actually quite low.  The body begins to correct damage caused by smoking in remarkable ways even within minutes of the last cigarette.

Within 20 minutes of your last cigarette:

Blood pressure drops to normal.

How many stop smoking sessions will you need?
Most smoking cessation sessions can be conducted over two sessions, three maximum.

Will I gain weight when I stop smoking?
This issue will be addressed during the actual stop smoking hypnosis session to ensure you do not begin to overeat.

How will I get through the first couple of weeks of stop smoking?
Your hypnosis session will be taped and you will have a CD to listen to everyday to ensure your success.

What if I am not really ready to stop smoking but everyone keeps telling me to quit?
If you are being forced to see me - chances of you succeeding are slim! You must come on your accord and want to quit smoking.  Motivation is a prime factor in your success to stop smoking.

Fees:  $250.00  The smoking cessation program includes two office sessions. Most people will stop smoking after the first session and use the second session for reinforcement. If you need a third session (only a small percentage will) the fee will be $290.00 for all three sessions. Hypnotic reinforcement CD's and telephone support are included in this fee. The fee for two/three sessions is due at the conclusion of the first, payable by check, money order, credit card or cash.

The results are dependent on your commitment, motivation and involvement in the change process. The most successful clients are the ones who get fully involved, listen to their CDs, act on advice and carry out their self hypnosis lessions.  

Vitamins that make a difference
Vitamins C and E supplements help detoxify the body, and may also help decrease smoker's cough. 
Vitamin C can also help by cleaning out residual toxins from the bladder, urinary tract, and liver.

B vitamins are needed to counteract stress.  Niacin (part of the B-complex)  can help smokers to stop smoking.  Niacin works because nicotine is the opposite (or mirror image molecule) of nicotinic acid or (niacin).  By substituting niacin for nicotine, the craving for a cigarette will stop.  If you have allergies, you might have an allergy to niacin.  Be aware of the "niacin rush."  Start with a minimal dosage of 50 mg, three times a day. You can increase as you can tolerate to 500 mg, three times a day.  Less is best!  Do not take niacin with acid foods, such as vinegar or citrus.  If you purchase niacin, look for the niacin labeled (non-flush). Always check with your doctor before taking this or any supplement.

To aid the the repair of the damage to the lungs, consider:  Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Silica tablets  (carrot juice is a good source of Vitamin A).

A diet high in alkaline makes the urine alkaline. When the urine is alkaline, less than one percent of the nicotine is excreted. Slowing down nicotine excretion can reduce withdrawal symptoms.  The use of TUMS will produce a less acidic system.
